Bio:
Hello all,
I'm a 2005 yellow team alum and a 2001 graduate of The University of Kansas. After finishing up school I did a year stringing for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and then got my first full-time gig at the Topeka Capital-Journal where I spent the next three years. Currently, I'm approaching my third year as a staff photographer for the Lawrence Journal-World in Lawrence, Kansas.
My workshop experience led by Michael Williamson, Tim Rasmussen and Aristide Economopoulos was phenomenal and won't be forgotten. The week culminated when my team crashed Williamson's room at 1 a.m. or so for a group portrait while the final night party was going on. About ten or so of my teammates including Tim and Aris piled on Michael's bed for the pic. With no room left I exhaustedly tried to get on top of the bedside table to squeeze in the shot, lost my balance mid-frame and ended up on the floor with all of Michael's effects and a bedside lamp strown about. Somewhere I have the pictures to prove it.
