Hello all,

Im trying to arrange for people to meet up a day before the workshop starts. I, and a few of the other foreign attendees, plan to arrive the day before it starts and thought it would be good to have some drinks and meet up. Is anyone gonna be around New York the day before? Does anyone recommend a hotel for us foreigners to crash in? I have no idea of where to meet so il leave it to the attendees who live in New York to decide.
let me know what you think..

Gareth

Hey Gareth, lets definitely meet up. You can always check for hostels in the area. I found a number of them for like $30-40 a night. We should plan a specific place and time sometime soon.

Hey! The East Village has many many fun bars, we just need a place that would be spacious enough for all of us!!!!
Let me think of a cool spot and post the directions...

I suggest we meet on the 4th evening at Mama's bar on 34 Ave. B at 3rd St.
The closest train is 2nd av. on the F and/or V train.
Mama's food shop is just next door so hungry people can eat too!
Let me know if that works for you...
See you soon!
